Handcrafted with Intention and Love

At Moon Weaver, every thread tells a story—woven, dyed, and stitched by hand into wearable art that carries the spirit of tradition and creativity.

I hand dye the threads and fabric with indigo and turmeric to achieve rich blues, vibrant yellows and luscious sea greens. The hand weavings are produced on my 30” floor loom inherited from my husband’s grandmother, Lois.

Sitting at the loom is a sacred act. The process of weaving puts me in a meditative state where the mind quiets and I am able to allow whatever expression wants to come through.

My work is about the transient nature of all things and honoring each moment with full presence. As important as the creative process is for me, it is equally important that it may offer a similar experience of peace and reflection for the viewer. There is love and devotion in every piece.

I have been weaving for over 20 years. I have the great blessing to have attended Oregon College of Art and Craft from 2024-2008 receiving a BFA in Craft with a focus on Fiber Arts.

My life mantra has been to experience art as a living process. My spiritual evolution brings me closer every day to living in alignment with this aspiration.
